The Love of Light and the Light of Love 　A biography of Turner’s artistic inspiration 　An unmistakable dynamic discloses itself if we consider a particular sequence in Turner’s paintings. His fascination with the interpenetration of the elements, particularly of the sea, and his compositional development reveal the changing effects of light. But there is more. This workshop on Turner’s work will endeavor to show, through observation and artistic exercises and lectures, that the artist was also inspired to celebrate the redemptive task of Light in Nature. His vision expresses and develops the greatest spiritual and human ideals of the Romantic literary movement in the dynamism for Form, Colour and Light.
